Digital twins

Nexerium builds digital twins: live 3D replicas of buildings, sites and cities, created in Unreal Engine to help teams plan, run and present real places. We are based in Riyadh and work across Saudi Arabia.

Our approach

Start with the purpose of the twin. A planning team may need to explore a site and explain a proposed layout. An operations team may need a spatial view of information about the place. A presentation team may need to walk stakeholders through a building or city. That purpose determines what the 3D environment should show and how people should interact with it.

The brief should also distinguish the physical place from the information shown about it. Identify the available reference material, required level of detail, intended users and display setting. If live updates or connections to existing systems are needed, define the source, access and update requirements during scoping. The required integrations and operating arrangements belong in the agreed project scope.

What the service covers

  • A 3D representation of a real building, site or city.
  • An Unreal Engine environment for exploring and presenting the place.
  • Views designed around planning, operation or presentation needs.
  • A defined scope for any live information, system connections and update requirements.

Where it fits

  • Present a building or development site to stakeholders in a navigable 3D environment.
  • Give planning teams a shared view of a real place and its proposed use.
  • Scope a spatial interface for information used by the team operating the site.

Common questions

What is Nexerium's digital twin service?

Nexerium creates live 3D replicas of buildings, sites and cities in Unreal Engine. The service focuses on planning, operation and presentation, with the place, users and information requirements defined in the brief.

How does a digital twin differ from a virtual world?

Our digital twin service represents a real building, site or city for planning, operation or presentation. Our virtual worlds service creates 3D environments for LED stages, film sets and VR. Choose according to whether the project needs to represent a real place or create an environment for an experience or production.

What should a digital twin brief include?

Describe the place, the decisions the twin should support, intended users and available reference material. List any required data sources, update frequency, viewing hardware and system connections so their feasibility and scope can be discussed before production.

Do you build digital twins in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia?

Nexerium is based in Riyadh and works across Saudi Arabia. Share the building, site or city you need to represent and the intended planning, operation or presentation use.

Virtual worlds

Nexerium creates 3D virtual worlds for LED stages, film sets and VR. The environment becomes the setting for a production or experience, whether an audience sees it on a stage or a participant explores it through virtual reality.
